So many options and my first time pulling with a Diesel Truck; so which is it???
I am picking up my new camper in two weeks : 2010 Rockwood Ultralite 2501SS.
For the sake of towing let's just say I will have her fully loaded to capacity at 6500 lbs. I know my new DMAX can more than handle it and some have told me I went overkill in getting the DMAX, but I wanted to Tow without feeling I was towing; I wanted smooth sailing, as I was tired of pulling with my 1/2 Ton Gasser and previous camper :gearjamin.
Ok my question: With so many towing options on my LLY:
1. which one for hauling 6500lbs?
2. is one preferred over the other "OD" , "OverDrive Disabled" , "Tow/Haul Mode" or "3rd" Gear?
3. What are some of the differences?
4. Fuel economy and Pros and Cons of one over the others?
