I have a LMM Duramax which came with the factory TPMS. I got some new wheels/tires and ordered them mounted and balanced. Well they came in, put them on the truck and love them. However I forgot one small thing- to order it with the TPMS. And now that it's not on there, everytime I start the truck I get the light and error message on the console saying Service Tire Monitor System.
I know one fix would be to just have them installed on the wheels. However I really could care less to do that and it's a pain in the ass. So the reason for this thread- how do I deactivate the TPMS?
