Do they not attach to the valve stem? Are you going to drill 3 more holes in your spare wheel. If you do, don’t put them right next to each other, or it may never balance out right.

He means place them fully inside. I think it depends on the model year, but the newer ones need to sense rotation. You would still get a light on the dash with all of them in the spare and pressured up.

I think most tire shops would not do it because of the liability. I asked my local tire shop that is not a part of a big chain and even they laughed at me.

I've seen some homemade pvc tubes on other forums. Maybe a better solution than the spare tire?

I tried that, dash still lit up. Like I said, they need to sense rotation, not just pressure.

Thanks for the input. And yes, I was going to drill the spare steel rim and install all 4 in the spare and just put regular valve stems in the factory rims.
