I traded my Cummins in today for a loaded 04 Chevy Duramax with 64k on it also saved a nice chunk of change from my former payment. I had a 5" TBE with no emission garbage in it, S&B intake and a Smarty programmer, it made 434hp, didn't get a solid tq reading but there was a blip that showed 874tq. It ran great but I wanted more luxuries and to save some money on payment as I have a little one on the way. I did feel like a murderer last night when I put that terrible stock exhaust with the evil DPF back on, man does that choke the poor motors. :kick
I'm wondering what are the "necissities" for the LLY Duramax? It has an AFE intake and 4" exhaust with Edge already, but something has to be done about that little EGR problem.
What's the best way to delete/block it, as in is there a kit or just an easy block method everyone uses? I also have seen a lot of talk about the LLY turbo mouthpiece, what did they do that screwed it up so bad and what's the best fix, a whole new piece or a ported one or...? Sorry for all the newb questions and thanks for the help.
