I have had TST monitors on my trailer for about a year now. They work fine, except one of them was leaking air until I used some teflon plumbers tape on the stem threads.

Trailer TPMS
The DILL system looks interesting because it monitors both tire temperature and pressure. I am worried about the range of the system – a long bed with a long horse trailer. There is no OEM TPMS on a dually so interference is not an issue.I have had TST monitors on my trailer for about a year now. You need togo to one of the forums that campers use. Like Montana or such. You will find some stories in there. Mine alerted me to some low pressure, that can really destroy a tire.I have been looking at TPMS for my trailer for over a year now. I have looked at high priced ones, low priced ones and in-between. But the thing that really keeps me from pulling the trigger is I have yet to have anybody tell me that it saved their [email protected]# and I have asked that exact question. I have suffered 3 tire failures from tread separation and I would just like one person to step up and say my TPMS showed an over temperature or over pressure and sure enough I check the tires and found a tread starting to separate. But so far all I have heard is I love my ….. In the meantime I continue with my current ritual of zapping every tire and bearing on the trailer with a laser thermometer and giving the tread a quick once over at every gas stop.
