I used my 03 lb7 with the allison to pull my mud truck to the mud runs. I have pulled it god knows how many times.Never had a problem. Usually egts run high due to programmer being turned up. I finally remembered to turn it down and when we headed out this morning it was pretty cold and my tranny temp was running right at 200 on the way there and on the way home it never went below 220. i have replaced both filters and did a flush, never had a problem pulling it in 100+ heat. is there any way to put a electric fan on it? or any ideas????

I had this issue last night cruising town for a couple hours. This is the first time I drove around in stop and go for this long. Trans temp was around 215-220 by the end of the night. Maybe time for an upgrade. Thanks for sharing the link.

Check your fluid. If it's over filled it WILL run hot. You want it on the lower side of the full mark.
