What years did they go from a 5spdto 6spd auto,

06 and later, i think the later lly had the 6 speed along with the lbz

06 and newer have the 6spd with the manual setting..they have tranny kits avalible to convert the 01 thru 05 trannys from a 5spd to a 6spd..
