i had the front seal go out on my transfer case. From what ive read the first thing to check is a plugged vent line. Question is, where is it?

Im out of town, so cant look at the truck yet, just wanted to check with yall before it get back so i know where to look.

Also, how hard is it to replace the front output seal? Ive replaced output seals before on my 2wd dodge, anything special to do or look out for on these things?

It kinda snakes up the tranny to the back of the motor.

Thanks, so is it pretty easy to find? I probably shoulda waited to look at it before posting this but i only have a few days to work on it and wanted to get a head start with whatever i could.

How hard are they to get plugged? I driven through some pretty muddy conditions but never buried it or anything like that.
