Well my tranny is starting to give out. I can't even pass someone on the interstate on my economy tune cause it'll throw the tcm code. I think it's p007? Not sure. I know there might be a lot threads out there of this but what would be a smart thing to do. Just rebuild it or get a ats stage one tranny? I don't want to rebuild it and pay the same for a ats fully built one you know? My mods are just fully deleted with [email protected] intake, and efi live my top tune is 150.

Where are you located?? There are a number of good transmission builders out there. I have no personal experience with ATS but have heard more than a few times to stay away from the purple junk. Have yours built. I can't speak for any of the kits but the Suncoast G-Max it is very well made for a converter I choose Goerend, Dave was very helpful with the choice.
The code you are getting should be followed by others it is just the TCM telling the ECM there is a problem.

In Amarillo tx. There's a good shop here that I've heard does very well with transmission builds, I just didn't know what would be a good thing to do. Would it be good to do a full transmisson build? Or can I just add better clutches and converter to hold what it has? I'm not planning on adding a bigger turbo or anything else, I just want it to hold and be able to use the truck with out it throwing any more codes.

A good builder will let you know how much you should do but these trucks are addictive and the transmission is the starting point for any power increase and it is kind of nice to know that if you do get carried away you don't have to go back in to it.
