If you tune with dpf in place it will regen more. If you still want to keep you're warranty, you can't tune anyway. All or nothing.

As mentioned, tuning will void the warranty, but it's my understanding that Rob at ATPTrucks.com has been working on tuning for LMMs with DPF intact.

 

I wasn't really thinking warranty, more about any legal hassle. If still the tuning is still available in the next 2-3 months when I buy, I've thought about gutting the DPF for "just in case" scenarios but that's an expensive option.

 

We are doing a LOT of testing on Robs personal LMM with FULL emissions still intact. The results are great so far and have seen north of 3 mpg increase

 

Now that would be sweet, but when my warranty is up the gloves come off and we are going full out.

Sometimes you realize the warranty isn't as great as you think it is anyway, that was my realization right before I bought tuning from Rob.

Rob has put a lot of time in testing and there were a few threads about this before. He picked up some good ETs while still seeing improved MPG. Rob can work magic when he puts his mind to it, lol...

 

Yeah buts its saved me $4500 in repairs already, so I'll hold out till Jan or another 15K miles
