I'm about ready to install 2 new Moog upper control arms with new ball joints. I've read that I need to reuse the adjustment guide pins and I've also read that they don't need to be reused. I was hoping I could get a couple opinions on whether I need to keep or trash em.
Thanks, truck is 4x4 if that makes any difference.

you need the pins, you dont need the plastic gauge things...those are just there from the factory for initial assembly.

The little moon shaped pieces I don't need? And how many pins should there be, I've got 2 on the inside of each arm, nothing facing the front or back. Is this correct?

Google for some DIY pics on that. They will help you see how it works.
Most guys mark the previous setting - that way you'll be pretty close (enough to drive it to the shop).
The final adjustment is made when you get it re-aligned.
