My dad's 03 dodge 1500 has an check engine light that is preventing him from passing inspection. codes are P0442 and P0456.
What are these coeds and can i clear them with my V2 so he can pass inspection?

Clearing them will not help if they are active codes and come back on. The truck will have to go through a certain number of cycles to be in a "ready" position for the smog test.

I've never tried it on a Dodge, but on a GM you can do a readiness check. I imagine it's the same since this is a scan tool function.
