My uncle gave me his old Van Aaken Smartbox tuner for an 01' Duramax. I hadn't even heard of this tuner before he gave it to me. He said it was one of the first tuners to come out for the Duramax. I was just wondering if anyone uses one or knows anything about them. I don't have a manual and I think I am missing some parts? Thanks:)

I dont know much about them but i think there were two versions of the VA box, THe big one has mad some impressive numbers on some lb7 trucks.

AS for missing parts there shouldent be a whole lot to go with it?

Thanks for the quick response. I put it on my truck the other day and it worked , but I think there is supposed to be a switch to change power levels. In the wire loom there is a plug that looks like it is for a switch. Do you know if it is supposed to have a switch?

Thanks for your help. I'm going to look online some more and see what I can find. I'm on the Van Aaken website now so hopefully I will find what I need. Even if I have to buy a switch, you can't beat a free tuner!
