Hello,

I am considering getting a Viper security system with remote start, but had a quick question...

My truck currently has remote start and it will adjust the A/C or heater based off of the temperature when I remote start it with the factory remote. If I get the Viper system, will this feature still be available? The Viper system I am looking at is the 5701.

Why do you want aftermarket? The stock one works well.

I like the option on the Viper to leave the truck running, but still be able to remove the key and arm the alarm, when stopping for just a little bit at a store or something. I wish GM would've included that option in their remote start.

Did u end up getting one? I'm looking at getting that model on my 10' and hope that u can still have it so the heated seats work.i want one for two way features and the fact you dont have to be 50 feet from the truck for it to work!

the viper smart start I think allows those options and the range is by far superior since it works through the phone.

I deft plan on that. I need a good two way around here cuz rogers service sucks out of town, which is where I live
