Hey guys so I have wanted a truck since I was a little boy and finally have gotten it. 2007.5 GMC 2500HD DIESEL color white. But now I want to make it my own with mods. Im new to the diesel forums and needed help. Where should I start? I have about 1000.00 every three months to spend on my truck.....given time I could do all of the mods at once but I want to start now.

So here is my question. Exhaust? Programmer? Lift/Level? Tires/Wheels? Other mods? Which would (or did) you do first. I know that some mods have to be done before the others. Talked with NorcalNick and im going to go with 4in lift and run 35's or level it and run 295/55/20's. Exhaust will get DPF Delete programmer and pipes. Mpg's a plus not huge factor since I drive 20 miles to and from work every day. Want this thing to turn heads!

All opinions welcome. Thanks for the Help.

DPF delete and EFILive would be first. Depending on your goals you can get the entire tuning suite or a pre-tuned ECM/SPADE. After that you should get a lift pump. The AirDog II-165 is the best thing going right now. That will give you plenty of power, then you can move on to the cosmetic stuff.

Yea was thinking should go with the whole exhaust 1st and tuner, but alot of my buddies making fun of the donuts the truck is sitting on at the moment. Guess they would not say alot when i blow by them on the road.

That sucker will flat move on the donuts.... Tune it first. Then level it and throw some rims on it. If you lift it you will lose MPG and power.

Alright so DPF delete, block EGR, and PCV reroute with lift pump. Also level it to keep the power, ok sit it on a stage 4 cognito level kit with 295/55/r20 grapplers , XD 801 Crank 20in wheels. Intake should be good till higher HP right? What about a down pipe? anything else jump about that needs to be done to engine?
