We are looking at buying an 2005 Duramax with a 5 sp Allison Trans.
I am wondering if the LBZ 360 hp was available in 2005 models?
How is the 5 sp Allison as compared to the 6 sp Allison?

nope....only the LLY with a 6 speed at the end of 05 early 06.
