Hey guys, 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD LBZ long bed, manual 4WD. Recently i’ve been trying to diagnose a clunk in the drivetrain that happens when coming to a stop and when taking off from a stop. I noticed when taking off from a stop, the 4WD shift lever seems to almost torque like a half inch, which made me believe it could possibly be a bad transmission mount. However, when inspecting the mount, without pulling it out visually it looks to be in decent shape. Has anyone come across this problem or have any ideas as to what could be causing this?
Thanks,
Adam

Could be your engine mount or u-joints
