I know it's mass air flow voltage to hi but what will it cause. Will it make my truck smoke or what will it do

It will eventually fail and truck will not run. I would address it

I have a egr delete with no fingerstick and it is not shut off in the computer yet. I am thinking that is why the light is on. Just my thoughts. Anyone else agree. And the egr is gone from the truck. Was I correct though does the mass air flow control the air fuel mixture. Would that make it smoke????
