I have a stock 2006 Chevy duramax lbz. My buddy offered to sell me 18x9 fuel throttle wheels for $400.
I feel like my stock wheels are too little on the truck . What’s the biggest tire size I could go without cranking the t bars . I would like for the truck to sit higher up than it does now if possible .
Do you guys like the wheels , or think I should pass ?
Wheels don’t come with tires on them .

you can fit 33s on it forsure without changing ride height. 33" tire on a 18 looks pretty good. but more importantly... what do YOU think about the wheels.

If you like the wheels go for it . Some big tire places will work with you and let you test fit a couple tire sizes to help you decide .

I like the wheels , I’m just having a hard time visualizing them on my truck . Any of you guys have a similar truck that’s stock height with 33’s? Any pics ?

If you have access to these wheels then take one and have someone hold up the wheel inline with one of your wheel and tire, and stand back, this would give you a kinda sorta idea how they would look.

I haven’t known of anyone with a stock height truck from 01-2010 with 33’s on it, without leveling.
I had to level mine cranked up 3 1/4”-3 1/2” crappy ride then went with a 4” lift, tire specs 32.76” T actual measurement 32.25” T.

did a quick google search. i had 285/75r17 on my stock 2wd 1500 so i know theyll fit on a duramax. heres a truck with 285/65r18 (32.6" diameter tire) stock height
Thanks for the pic ! I think I may want a wider wall tire. I guess I’d need to level or lift it
