I have a 05' 2500 HD and I want to put a set of 18" rims on. Also I put the bushwacker fender gaurds on and want to bring the tires out just a bit. Looking for any help with tire size and wheel offset or back spacing with out any major mods. Truck is still factory height. I also do a lot of pulling with my 44' Jensen race trailer.

You could run an 18x9 with a -12mm offset to bring your wheels and tires out but if you do this you are going to want to stick with a tire that is within 1" of your original tire's height and width. I'd recommend looking at the LT285/60R18 size.

If you decide to level the truck you might be able to run a little taller tire like a LT285/65R18. Some fender liner and front bumper modifications would also need to be done though so if you are looking for a bolt up and go set up look into the LT285/60R18's above instead.

Give us a call if we can help you more. Call Wyatt at 1.888.459.4080 ext 51871. He has a lifted Chevy HD truck with 37's and knows the fitment well.
