What should I expect from adding a profab 3" down pipe, 5" MBRP downpipe back straight exhaust? Will I loose too much back pressure? how about EGTs and power?

lower egts and more and better sound. its a forced indution motor u do not need back pressure the less back pressure the better

somewhat right.

It's a turbocharged motor, the turbo creates your back pressure, the down pipe and exhaust will just net you lower EGT's which is :thumb

It's a turbocharged motor, the turbo creates your back pressure, the down pipe and exhaust will just net you lower EGT's which is :thumb
lol thats exactly what i was thinking but at this early in the morning thats all my fingers would type im dead this morning :poke[1]:

I've been up for 2 hrs and got 8hrs of sleep (about twice my normal average for a night) I'm wide awake LOL

ya that sounds about right lol got off of work at 9 last night got home at 930 showered and passed out..... woke up a 615 to be at work by 7 that equals about half the sleep i actually wanted :help

I'm looking to get those EGTs way down. the truck temp spikes, not towing anything, when I hit the mountains.

so what about the AFE intercooler pipes?

No need for any backpressure after the turbo, the less the better. The DP will get rid of the wide open screech and the exhaust makes sweet, sweet music........

Don't expect anything drastic with the EGT's you may get a 50 degree drop.

I would just go with the 4' system, 5' is just to much
to each there own... i thought 4 wasnt nearly enough and i love my 5.

my truck runs cool with my setup 600 cruising , high 700's on interstate at 75mph. but i'm also in the south and it's usually hot round here.

4" or 5" it dosen't matter power wise, it will make absolutely no diffrence. They simply sound diffrent.........................thats it..........................
