Ok guys, just bought this truck. 2005 3500 dually. What are the best mods to do on it? I dont believe any have been done yet.

What about the best chip programmer for this duramax?

It mostly depends on what you plan on doing with it...

but a LBZ airbox mod and an exhaust will greatly help reduce egt's and EFI is the best custom tunes, or ppe is debated as the best canned tunner. New tie rods or sleeves are a must for 4x4 boosted launches also

As far as a programmer goes, take a look at PPE or Edge Evolution CS or CTS. The CS and CTS are a great all-in-one solution with excellent programming, built in gauges, and safety alerts. Other things to consider getting would be the AFE Turbo Mouth Piece and a full 4" exhaust.
