I would skip the Edge and get a PPE if you want more power. The PPE is the most capable tuner on the market for the LLY. In order to take advantage of it you will need supporting mods to run the higher tunes.

Thanks for the input but i was really wondering if the edge has more power than the bully dog cuz i still want to get my normal 18-22 mpg, and the only other im goin to add is ram air and manifold nothing to extreme

The Edge is capable of a bit more. If you are not wanting to exceed 100 hp I suggest the new CS or CTS Evo.

The Edge Juice is not the best

As tyler said the new CTS/CS of a PPE Standard will get you going in the right direcetion. A PPE economy could give you just economy if that is what you want

ok here is a question i have related to the edge. Now i've read the allison is good for 90 hp over stock at the wheels? is level 5 on the edge "100 hp" at the wheels or at the engine? essentially, can i run my edge on level 5 with a stock trans?

not safely....

Edge is rated at the wheels. I would suggest level 4 to keep the trans happy.

Yes, you will. However, I also suggest looking at the Edge Evolution units (CS or CTS). Another option would be PPE. Feel free to give me a holler if I can help with anything.

Yes, in Houston. Evo is a programmer that plugs in underneath the dash and reprograms the ECM. The Juice is a harness box that plugs in underneath the hood into the main wiring harness. A programmer is the better way to go in my opinion, though some love their Juice/Att boxes as well.

edge is junk imo go ppe i also had bully dog had it only three days before i took it back i would have my truck stockk then run either of those two programmers ppe pr efi live all the rest on dmaxs r a waste of money

Thanks for ur input, but after this weekend i think ima stick with the bdtd, i mean its got plenty of power, im not tryin to make the fastest truck, this is also a business truck but thanks
