just wondering the oil change intervals on a big rig? and how much oil do they take, like an n14 cummins. just wondering

depends if they're running city stop and go or mainly interstate. anywhere from 15-30k miles.

We do 20k on the service intervals for our trucks, and an N-14 holds 11 gallons if I remember right

yeah our n-14's take 45 quarts I think or something close to that. 11 gallons and a oil filter's worth. run rotella T and the crankcases look fantastical

Not sure about a Cummins. We run Rotella-t in our C-15 CAT's. We like to do a full service every 15,000 miles, and it takes 10 gal in the crankcase + 1 in the filter.

i ran rotella in my 6bt cummins, it was crystal clear every time i changed it. same with my buddies. now we both run it in our dmaxes and mine is pretty black after 2k, his too. rotella is awesome though.. thanks for the responses guys, thats a sh*tload of oil
