ok guys/gals,
where is the largest diesel community ? north,south,east,west? cali,texas,new york,VA, ? post up your opinions and why along with your local info.......who has the most sled pulling,lifted,custom,and big power non stock diesels? lets see if we can make this a fun thread :drink

Well its not us out here in NY although were getting a good group going. I would say Cali... Unfortunately.. seems everyone on here is out tthere.

It definatly isnt here. There is only about 5-10 in my area woth anything done. I dont live in ohio but they got alot of diesel shops and have a ton of diesel events like sled pulling, racing, etc :cool:

I would say the midwest, there are a ton of trucks in my area and seems like there is a truck pull every weekend during the summer.

Texas, they even use duallys as daily drive there. I've worked in most states and I see more dually trucks in Texas.

per capital really i think the midwest up here would probably get it. most of them are stock but alot of people drive diesels up here. i bet 50% of the pickups up here are diesel and probably 35-40% of the non commercial vehicles on the road are pickups.

texas has my vote hell i can drive through every single town and atleast find a couple of diesel trucks to race lol cant get any better than texas

Texas accounts for almost 14% of the truck market, one state! Gonna be hard pressed to find a better performer than that.

I have to agree, I live 20 miles north of Texas. In southern Oklahoma and North Texas, every other vehicle you pass on the road is a diesel truck. I'd say the southern states take it hands down.

Texas. Gotta be. I searched on houston and dallas craigslist for weeks before lucking out with mine locally.

bought mine from Chevy, was a Repo truck, lookin' real real sad on mismatched steelies and stock stock stock as all getout.
