sorry for my stupidity but what fuse could i use for a "key on for power"? installing a bully dog. the acc outlets seem to be on all the time? thx in advance. 2009 chevy 2500 HD

i take it your installing a monitor?? like a watchdog or somthing to that sort???

Welcome to the forum! :drink

Grab one of thses fromt he auto parts store. It gives you a seperate fuse for your new item and a power wire for it.

IIRC I used the airbag fuse :cool:

Brown or yellow found at ignition switch or BCM, lt. green plug, pin 21.BCM is located under the driver side dash to the left of the steering column.Just t-tap it there.

i am lost what is the brown wires to the 25 amp fuse for
:rof That wasnt what the pic was for. My buddy wired that for me. It was a fuse for the trailer power wire that GM puts a dummy fuse in for. I replaced that with a actual $10 fuse :rolleyes:
