I went to GMdieseltech.com and found two oils....I just don't know the difference between the two....one is Schaeffers 15w-40 Supreme ..... and the other is Full Synthetic 5W-40 from Schaeffers. Which one do I want?? There is only a 2.00 price difference.

Either, however, if you live in a cold climate you should probably stick to the full synthetic.

I checked there website and if you click on the details it says one is full synthetic and the other is a synthetic blend. Personally I am not fond of full synthetic so the synthetic blend would be my choice.

Just a question... Why not get the oil from a autoparts store?

Last time I got everything from a Auto Parts Store around here...I ended up paying 98.00 to change my oil. And that was just oil and oil filter. Diesel parts are expensive around here....and noone knows anything about them.

AC Delco filter at Autozone = $4

Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel at Wal-mart 10qt (2gal+2qt) = $56

Total = $60

Walmart is a excellant place to buy oil. I just run rotela in all out diesel.

WOW! was that buying full synthetic? Im with them ^^^^! I usually get 3 gallons of Valvoline blue and AcDelco filter for around $50. I think Valvoline and rotella cost about the same.
