I have a 2006 lbz crew cab and i have an 5 inch exhaust and a edge evo race and last night i was dogging the truck it smoked most of the night dark bllack but then later the white smoke turned into white but i checked my injector rates and they are perfect is this normal i have heard the KN airfilter did this to some of the trucks if anyone has info please let me know???? Thank you

no i think its to much or fuel in ur oil

if u have fuel in your oil.. thats prb injectors??

could also be coolant..after truck is sitting for awhile...is your upper radiator hose hard?

White is usually coolant. Grey- Fuel. You can always try to clean MAF and toss that K&N and see if there's any changes.

I have the same problem, but mine is when the truck idles for about 20 minutes. Its just a puff of whiteish smoke and than its gone.

I know GM put out an ecm update that had to do with the EGR. My truck smoked white and I didn't believe the mechanic but he reflashed my ecm. I took my truck out and bagged the hell out of it for an afternoon and there's been no white smoke since. Strange? Yes.
