I have seen this advertised and watched a number of video's on this product and it seems like it could be a fantastic product.

Wondering if anyone here has actually seen it or has one. They show the product is not available and backordered.

Looking for any info on this one.

I would imagine that WAMS is still trying to negotiate something to still supply the tuning, or something along those lines, and that is why they have not come on here and told their side of the story. Or they are just decent people and not going to trash someone on the internet.

I will say this. I have had a few issues with this setup since I got it. I emailed both WAMS and BT Diesel, I received a response from WAMS within minutes. About a week later I re-emailed BT, that was a month ago, still waiting. I hope WAMS starts selling the whole package.

Curious, as it sounds like BTDiesel made a statement somewhere, what did he say about all of this?

Looks like a dead thread and even worse a dead product, I would think by now there would be an update. So sad, I really hate it when a product that had so much promise just up and dies not only for what it could have offered to the Duramax community but for those who invested good money into it lets just hope it keeps working for them even with limited support. Best regards,,,

I still have full functionality. Haven't had to make any adjustments lately. My hyper flash is gone for good, surveillance mode is active, and my DRLs are turned off since my Morimoto headlights accomplish the DRL function on their own.
🤷‍♂️
Fine, I'm not using all of it, and I essentially paid $600 just to disable hyper flash (my main reason for purchase), but my local dealer refused to perform it even when I said I would pay for and showed them the TSB on how to do it.

Contact BT diesel works and tell them you want want the ability to program the BCM. Maybe if enough people complain the situation will change.

BT is not on the forums and isn't reading this thread.

Just logged into my account, still working great for me too! Its not like I'm screwing with this all that much either, I too have set the parameters I wanted, tweaked the settings to the way I wanted them to be, and now I just leave it alone. An update at the dealership did not erase any of the settings, and unless I have a complete catastrophic failure, I expect my settings to remain intact.

Don’t buy the auto sync if you have a 2015 or newer Silverado. I made the purchase with the assurance tuning vendors would be available in 1-2 weeks. That was February. Bt diesel only has 2007-2014 programming of their own. (Except a 2017 bcm unlock. No tuning) I believe that’s why wams joined to provide 2015 and up tuning. Bt isn’t happy with wams and that is why they no longer provide tuning. Don’t pull the trigger on this until bt actually has a new vendor and don’t believe anything he tells you. If he even replies at all.
I do want to add that communication with wams is great. They will reply in a timely fashion and are pleasant to deal with. They do still provide ship in services for bcm tuning.
Yup that’s been my fear, make a purchase and wind up with a useless paper weigh.
Agree Chris at WAMS is very responsive, but bmaybe his hands are tied.
so if they offer do I understand you that I can purchase a unit from BTD and simply send it to Chris to program it so my Canadian Headlights can remain off?
that seems pretty simple, and I be all in for that.
I don’t need any other goodies that this tool I know is capable of doing

If you want your BCM programmed contact WAMS. Don't purchase anything from BT, you'll run out of air holding your breath.

By the way, I thought I'd mention the "new company" is nothing more than BTD under a separate name. Ben is now just doing the programming within his own company, but skirting lawsuits from WAMS by creating an LLC as a "foreign/Delaware" company. This is what shady folks do when they wanna get away with stuff. If Chris @ WAMS wanted to sue Ben, all that programming folks have paid for under that company would be seized and taken down permanently. I bet there would be no way for BTD to refund each and every customer who's bought programming under CCE.

Honestly, I could care less what BTD does, it makes no nevermind to me, its just a shitty thing to do and I have zero respect for a company who does stuff like this, but buy the programming if you feel comfortable with what BTD/CCE has to offer. Its unfortunate that nobody else has tried to offer an alternative programming package for the trucks at this point, and I'm sure as hell glad I spent the money at the right time before it all went downhill. Now, just gotta pray that nothing happens to my truck where I would need to re-program the bcm!

I'm a member of the auto sync Facebook group, and I must report that a lot of people seem to have problems these days with glitches. I haven't connected my auto sync to my truck in almost 2 years at this point because I have all the BCM tuning set up the way I need it. Consider yourself warned before purchasing an auto sync.
To answer your question, the WAMS / BTdieselworks partnership is no longer.

Agree with Tim (viper8315), I too have not plugged my programmer in for a couple years now, and I sure as hell refuse to update it in any way, shape or form, due to this new company/partnership/whatever it is.

White Auto has been silenced due to a lawsuit from what I was told several months back, BTD basically bent Chris @ WAMS over and screwed him, and even after that, Chris was still trying to work with the asshat at BTD.

I wouldn't buy a damned thing from BTD, last time I tried to get tech support from him, I waited days before a useless reply. My dongle is now stored safely away, in the event my dealership undoes what the dongle programmed, I'm hopeful that the dongle will still program the BCM to what I had set up 2 years ago.

Thanks for the background information. Sounds messed up as what I've read White Automotive provided professional customer service and I feel the software was the key component. Shame White Automotive can't work with another hardware vendor. I don't want to trust my expensive truck with the likes of BTD so I guess I missed the boat on some customization.
