Okay I know it's not a performance part, but it's not drivetrain either. Anyone know what sealant to use to fix this, my dads 1500 does it to and it drives me bonkers hearing the wind at highway speeds.

Mine does it too, i haven't looked into fixing yet. But i would imagine its just time for new seals

All you have to do is squeeze the thing together to narrow the metal channel and it will fit tight around the pinch weld. Don't gob RTV on there.

Mine didn't have any metal chanel in it that might be in the newer pickups. I put small dabs around it with right stuff it didn't take much and its been good for a few years
