Help! Won't shift!

I just installed a trans go Jr. kit. I thought everything went will, but it will not shift higher than 3rd gear. Annual ideas on what I did wrong? Shift fine into reverse and drive.

but did u install solenoids and the springs all back in?

I think so but taking it apart now. Seems electrical, shifts fine until third.

Well i dont no what the symptoms would be if the solenoids were backwards but make sure they were put in the same places that they came out of. i have heard of this causing issues.

I think I found it. Broke a wire off of one of the clips.

so how are you planning on fixing it permently. You need to replace the connector, DONT try and jerry rig it back together. It will bite you.

I soldered the wires back to the clip and all is working fine. I missed the top clip when I removed the valve body and must have pulled one wire wire off. I think I did a good job with the soldering, will this hold? Or should I still get a new harness?
