so i hopped in my truck and guess what, it wouldn't start. GrrRRrr batterys are good and fusses are good. i believe the starter is still good in the fact that it started 20 min earlier with no problems at all. i have narrowed it down to the clutch petal safety switch but i dont have anyway to test it till tomorrow.
does anybody know how to bypass it so dont have to replace it... :help

It could still be the starter. You try tapping on it?

The clutch switch is attached to the linkage under the dash. Many have reported a problem with the switch, so that may be the problem.

You could put the trans in neutral, set the brake, and jump the starter posts at the starter. That should tell you if the starter is OK. BE CAREFUL

How old are the batteries? I have seen on a car that it started fine. We went in to eat and came back out & nothing. It would jump and run fine, but when you shut it off it wouldn't restart.

As far as the clutch safety switch. On my car it was an open circuit. Don't know 100% on these trucks though
