I recently upgraded vehicles and my new work truck is an 06 Duramax, 6-speed auto.

I am hoping to get a little bit more power out of it and was hoping to get some suggestions.

I really don't want to spend too much money since this is technically not my truck. I would be willing to buy a box or a programmer, but I have no clue which would be best for my application.

I want to keep any upgrades fairly discreet, so any box with a large display is out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The 8th digit in the vin is D.

I was thinking the Diablo would be a decent option, but wanted to get other opinions. Are there any decent boxes that simply have a dial for the various levels (I've seen one in a friends Ford)?

Also, is there anything I can do to the motor as is, or is it all computerized and not much can be done without a programmer. I know Cummins fairly well and I understand how diesels work, but I have never messed with a Duramax.

Thanks.

HP Upgrades

anonymous,

You have an LBZ! The best bargain out there for a nice HP upgrade is the Diablo Predator, we have them on sale currently as well! Give us a call at 866-455-7788 and we'll be glad to help you on questions etc.
