Hey all! I just picked up this stock 2019 l5p duramax about a week ago. The one thing I noticed is that the coolant tank stays constantly full all the way to the coolant cap no matter hot or cold. I just learned today that there is a secondary tank underneath the primary tank that seems to be half way full. I let out a good amount of coolant yesterday and on it's own it filled right back up to the top of the primary reservoir after driving today. Is this normal operation? I'm concerned about headgasket failure causing excess pressure making coolant come out of the block. When the truck is cold the radiator hose isn't as stiff as it is when it's hot but is definitely stiffer than my LML when cold. Thanks for any insight.
