will these fit on stock wheels? i'm looking at getting firestone destination a/t's and firestones site says 7.5" wide rim. stocker is only 6". is this gonna work or do i need different rims?

yes they will thats what size im running. i have a leveling kit tho.

Ya theyll fit. I had them on my stock wheels. You will need to crank up the tbars a little and get it aligned.

Also stock wheels are 6.5 wide. :cool:

yeah just saw thhey were 6.5". i just did a 2" rear block and 2.5" leveling kit yesterday so now to get tires.

What kit did you get and where? I'm looking to gain 2" in the front and 2" in the rear. Don't want any higher cause I use the bed alot. just a little more clearance. :D

you can put 285/75 tires on the stock chevy 16. DO NOT DO ANY CUTTING OR TRIMMING of your front end... if your t-bars are up you are all set... i would stay away from the firestones.... lots of friends with bad luck and bad wear.... I am a big fan of the Hankook Dynapro ATM... in the 285/75/16 they come standard load range E.... Great price as well! Under 800 most of the time and the sidewalls look awesome!
