Anyone else have to replace the tie rod assembly? Had to replace mine recently at just 97,000miles.
Tried to find just the tie rod ends but could not, only option we found was a new assembly/ the whole tie rod including ends.

But a sister unit close to the same year, just a 5500hd; the tie rod on it is fine with over 130k miles.

Hey @DDMasterTech, that seems pretty early to have to replace the entire tie rod assembly, especially when you couldn't find just the ends. What kind of work or driving conditions does your 4500HD usually see compared to the 5500? A little more detail on its use might help someone here pinpoint why it wore out so much faster.

Don't forget to check with International for parts. The suspension, brakes, diffs, xfer case is all their stuff.
