Rim height doesnt matter, your overall tire height is what matters. Meaning - a 20 rim with 6" sidewall is 32 tall. A 22 rim with 5"sidewall is 32 tall...etc

Just realize when you start changing your rim size you will also be changing your load rating. If youre someone who needs your truck to match specific loads on the corners, you risk effecting that

 

Exactly- rim diameters are meaningless for tire size. Plenty of info on the site already for rim/offset/ tire combos.

My silverado 2500 (year 2018) has the original 20" tires. I want to change to 22" or even 24". But I dun know what size is fit for my truck. Could you please tell me? Thank you very much!

Did you buy your HD truck to haul and tow heavy loads? Those large 22" and 24" wheels are for mall crawlers and not rated for heavy loads, unless you find a unicorn forged HD wheel in those sizes.

 

I don't have to tow heavy loads. I just want it had a higher chassis, Not super tall, of course.

You should be able to just about fit 35s on those factory rims with a crank or two of the tbars. It will only increase your ride height about an inch though unless you modify the suspension
