You can get the connectors, just not from GM. Call Proformance Diesel in CA, they can source them for you. Just an FYI, last I heard the connectors were on national back order.

What did you end up doing to repair your connectors? I just broke the middle connector on mine. It’s still locked in and connected well but I want to repair it before I swap in my unlocked ECM.

ZIP ties work on a temporary basis. Just make sure you do a good job.And don't let those temp fixes last forever.

 

Does anyone know where you can get just the connector and not the entire harness ?Proformance Diesel in CA shows to be permanently closed online. I’m going to use zip ties for the time being. It still locks in place but the slide/gear is broken on the other.

Get the stock part number from a GM based website and then google that part number. There are tons of places to buy these parts. You won't know which have them in stock until you contact them.

The connectors are available from GM now. I ordered mine yesterday for around $74.00 from my local dealership. Just thought I would give everyone a heads up.

EDIT this is for my specific application....

BE SURE that your large ground terminal is in the proper location in respect to the wire outlet cradle and be sure that your cam lock goes in the right direction in respect to your wire outlet cradle.

Hi harman88,I am going through the exact same situation you were with the ecm connectors breaking.my truck won't start.what did you end up doing?i Dont know if I should take to a chevy dealership.

 

Hey y'all, so I can't confirm whether GM has these connectors or not because as per usual their system was down. I ended up ordering the drivers side engine harness (12683492) which is around $270 outside the GM network, $540.79 from GM (YIKES). I will update when it gets in whether the plugs are the same or not. And at some point I will call around to find the part numbers for all three connectors and update them here.

I broke the 66 pin and 96 pin connector of my harness not the 80 pin (blue).

 

Might look at making this a sticky note, to help others.

 

there is a connector repair kit for 40$ on diesel performance only takes a few minutes for the fix.

Anybody get the parts number for the connectors going through the same thing I broke the case on one of mine and somthing w the other as well

 

Remember that different years will have different part numbers for the connector locks. They aren't all the same.
