Hi to the group. My name is Luis and new to the forum.
I have a Chevy 2019 2500 LTZ 6.6 diesel. Decided to change the coolant as a maintenance even though its early, 106K.

According to the manual it contains 7 gallons. I am only able to get approx. 4 gal out. Heater was on before I started draining and I even disconnected the heater hose to see if it would brake any air lock if there was one.

Any thoughts.

Thanks in advance
Have a Blessed Day

Thanks to everyone. I ended up getting approx. 5 gal out. I lifted the rear, detached the heater hose & used a wet vac., I pressurized the reservoir, and I also used a wet vac. on the radiator drain. Thought about flushing with water, but was afraid of over diluting. Someone sent me a schematic of the block plugs, but one appeared to be above the starter and I would have to remove the started. I drained the coolant at 105k instead of the 150k recom. Going forward I will probably change it every 100-110k miles.
Once again thanks to all and have a blessed day.
Luis
