I disconnected both batteries to install the Banks idash and derringer as instructed. After install, both batteries were reconnected and now the drivers door window does not work. Everything else works, needing help getting this issue solved. Thanks for any help!

On the very first key cycle after a battery disconnect, you have to "relearn" the express drop.
Disconnect/reconnect batteries again
Ignition on (running optional)
Prompt on the DIC should tell you to lower driver window manually all the way
I think you also have to manually raise it all the way
Window should work fine after that

I dunno, but both times I've disconnected the batteries it prompted me to put just the drivers window all the way down manually, (and I think back up).

Great to hear. It happens every time you disconnect the batteries. It's easy to miss in the effort of getting the truck running again. Been there, done that... 👍

Im still scratching my head at this. Is this why only my driver window goes back up auto, but not front passenger? Yet the front passenger does the double click like it should go auto. I drive a Tahoe at work with the same interior and buttons but that does auto all around?

Only the drivers window is express up. All the windows are express down though.
I guess my description is wrong. It's not relearning the express down, but it's relearning the express up.

Do I need to pop off my door panel to drop my window and raise it again? Sorry to revive an old thread but I disconnected the battery and the distributor box under the dash and then reconnected everything and everything works fine except my driver front window wont go down. The DIC first prompted me to lower and raise my driver window and that's the only window that won't do it so basically my driver front window is useless. Also, all my switches and buttons on the driver door panel work. So I'm clueless

Ok, I'm having trouble following what you did.

When you saw the prompt to lower and raise the driver's window, did you actually lower and raise the window?

Ok, have you disconnected the batteries again, and gone through the relearn procedure again?

I think if doesn't complete properly, the window is disabled. I can't remember.

Nope, use the switch like you would if there was no such thing as express up or down.
Go all the way down, then all the way up.

Keep the button pushed or pulled through the entire travel of the window. All the way down. All the way up.
