went in with an emissions failure, Dealership recommended to Install a 4" turbo down exhaust, leaving EGR in place, install EFI live with 40 hp tune and emissions delete. I wasn't aware dealers were offering this service, pleasantly surprised and told them to go ahead and do it. Located in Edmonton Alberta Canada

Just make sure you temper your expectations on the fuel economy increase. It will help, but I'd be surprised if you ever save enough on fuel to cover the cost of the weight loss procedure. Don't get me wrong, it's likely still worth it to you if the main goal is to not deal with issues down the road on specific components on the truck. But if a bigger concern is fuel economy you might be disappointed after you go through the process.

Don’t know but I’ve seen mid 20s mpg with trucks on a diet.

I have the same emissions message with a bunch of others codes on a 22 drw that gets worked. I travel the entire country doing medical contracts with 18k Rv. Still under warranty but can’t afford to lose the truck for 3+weeks. Maybe I need to loose weight?

Are the only cons is that you lose the warranty?
