I was finally able to get my truck on the lift and noticed the 2 bolts that hold the rear of the cab to the frame were missing. They look kind of strange i dont know what to do to install new ones. Should i get them from chevrolet? they dont look like they have a nut on them. Honestly I don't know how they work. The truck makes a creaking noise going around a turn. Has anyone had this happen to them? Thanks

Well I fell culprit to this same issue. Heard a bad popping or clunking noise at turning. Just bought truck about three weeks ago and it got worse. Brought it in to GMC service shop. 14 of the 16 cab to body bolts completely missing. No breaks, no bolts, not nuts, just gone. Obviously someone had a body lift and didn't give a damn about putting them back before trading it in. Sad thing is the dealership who sold me the truck didn't catch this upon their "certified" inspection. Factory warranty doesn't cover this but the dealership who sold it to me will. $500 for bolts and whatever the labor is and I'll have my truck back tomorrow. Also while they are there I asked them to do a thorough inspection to see what else they could have missed.
