Is there a way to kill this function off? It won't stop blowing until I insert the key in the ignition. I have looked all through the DIC can't locate this or is it even doable to cancel it from blowing.

So many gadgets on this truck and some are down right irritating to a point.

guessing its factory remote start? if so I would think have to take to dealer and have them look at it. Pretty hard to diagnose electrical problem because they are not common problems and usually different issues. maybe I am wrong and someone else had the same issue but being its 2016 the dealer should fix it no problem.

Might need to hit up dealer or someone with a tech 2. Those tech 2s can access all types of items like that. All kind of entry lighting delays and DRLs and ALC things

Good luck. My gto horn would honk randomly all the time. Never did figure it out and neither could the dealer. Used to do it at the worst times, bank lines, behind cops, long red lights, definitely made me look like an asshole a lot haha

I think it is functioning normal for the setting it is set at which I have no access to apparently through DIC. It stops the second I put the key in ignition and turn it forward like you're suppose to once in the truck. Yes factory remote start on this truck.

If you don't get that key in as soon as you get in the truck will turn itself off so no tail dragging once you get in got to get that key in the ignition and turned forward. Weird and no mention of all this in the owners manual that I can locate.

Mine stays on without the key being in or 10 minutes, if you do the sequence on the key fob again it will reset for anther 10. So if you catch it at 9 minutes or so it will stay on for 19 minutes. Just learned that the other week haha. 16s are probably different but I wouldn't imagine that would get rid of that. I've sat in my truck without the key in for a few minutes before and it never shut off
