I tried finding a picture with dirt on the truck, but I don't really have any. Basically, draw a line from the rearmost contact point of the tire to the bottom of the guard and onto the body. That is the protection the body gets.

 

Mudflaps? Huh?

 

Get rubber flaps.

 

Had those rubber Gatorbacks on my Denali, while they did provide great protection... I think they're hideous.

It's kind of a compromise with the molded flaps, but I think they're the best looking option.

I'm not a fan of the colormatched guards on any other color than black though.

I think oem splash guards are a joke, they a not long/low enough to prevent rocks from hitting truck.

I buy big, ryderfleetproducts.com and cut to fit. Like to keep front only an inch or two off the ground.

These is what I pieced together. Aluminum splash guards on rear. Huge and solid, fronts still have give. Weighted bottom to keep down driving. And use only stainless hardware.

Not a single chip on the rocker panels over 770,000 miles.

I have 14" wide Duraflap mudflaps on my 15 and hung them 7" from the ground. Work awesome for rocks, mud and snow. I can get a pic if you want and are looking at anything other than molded.

 

Yeah and i get that most people don't like the molded flaps and if my truck wasn't slammed i'd say they were impractical but i need short ones that sit flush with the fenders or my wheels rub. Truth is my entire truck is impractical. My dealer has been trying to find them for the past 5 months and we've tried 5-6 pairs and none have been right. I do have the front pair but cant seem to find the rear ones...

 

You are looking for splash guards, not mud flaps. Mud flaps actually provide complete coverage....Dura Flaps are excellent!

 

I went with the Gatorbacks but my fronts rub not quite at full lock, kind of annoying beings it didn't prior to install. Maybe need to turn the bars up a hair (a red hair, that is!)

 

I don't mind the logo's but on a dually I think mud flaps look fine anyways.

 

Which flaps are those? Thinking of changing out the OEM ones on mine, they dont cover nearly enough.

 

Just got my duraflaps in the other day...if it wasn't so cold out I'd install them. Have lots to install.

 

These DuraFlap are the only mud flaps I could find that work with my flares.
