Thought I would share my version of the PCV and Resonator delete. It takes just a little time and is very cost effective. All that and it looks great also. While I am sure it has been done before, I have not seen it done this way

Picture of Turbo Intake Tube removed

After removing the tube I took my hacksaw and cut both flanges off as close to flush as I could. followed by cleaning up the 2 holes with a file or course sand paper.

Next up was cutting 2 pieces of screen slightly larger than the holes. I used some roofing mesh but any screen or light clothe should work. Time to mix up some JB Weld/Epoxy. Any piece of cardboard and some recycled popsicle sticks become disposable tools. I recommend stuffing some paper or clothe in the tube to support the patch and fast setting JB Weld/Epoxy which I used neither of.

Well now that I figured out how to do this write up it is time for a break. I will return!

LML PCV & Turbo Resonator Delete

Now that the JB Weld was properly mixed I applied a quarter inch bead around each hole and coated both sides of my mesh before attaching it to the tube using the popsicle stick to press and smooth the patch. This is what it looked like when cured/dry.

It was strong but not very smooth so I took file to it shaping and cleaning up the edges. it took about 15 minutes to get like this.

I mixed another batch of JBs and put a coat over the outside and inside of each patch. After this was dried the file was used again to rough out the shape I was happy with.

A little sanding on the outside with some 220 grit sand paper finished up that part. Scrubbing it with a brush, some soap and water got it cleaned up. Blowing it off with some compressed air dried it up then sitting in the sun while I went and completed my most expensive purchase on this little project. A five dollar can of krylon all in one primer and paint that will adhere to almost anything including plastic.

Some light coats of paint on the outside finished it off nicely. Time to bolt it back on and work on getting the beast rolling again!

Yes that is a nice part, however...

Look into RPI turbo Mouthpiece for the LML. They are super nice and too bad on the wallet.
Yes that is a nice piece.
However I personally enjoyed coming up with and implementing my own solution to this small part of my delete.

It also allowed me to include these (parts cut off Turbo Intake Tube) in this picture!

And how it looks installed.

Another pic.

Less than ten dollars and looks great to me!

Wait a second, what about that hose going over the inter-cooler feed pipe on the right side? That is the stock hose that originally went to the Turbo Intake Tube/Mouthpiece. I will show you what I did with that next.

The factory PCV hose has many bends and none going were I wanted so it was cut off short leaving one usable angle.

A piece of 5/8 dishwasher hose about 10 feet long was pulled out of the shed and I cut this metal hose adapter off of the removed EGR cooler. I believe heater hose or fuel line could also be used.

Checking the adapter for size.

The factory hose was then twisted down with some pliers. After pushing the hoses together and feeding it down along the frame.

A few zip ties to secure it and PCV reroute is done. My hose ended under the back of the drivers side passenger door.

After a few hundred miles I have seen nothing come out of the hose and it is still dry to the touch.

PCV Reroute & PCV + Turbo Resonator Deleted For Less Than $10

I am very happy with how these modifications came out. The finished product cost me less than $10. Being able to reuse some items I had on hand helped. It can be easily duplicated and the time it took was well worth the effort for me.
If there are any questions or I missed something feel free to hit me up.
