no trans help.

I was going to pas a POS car doing 30 in a 70. Trans hit hard and I assume went into limp mode stuck in third. Idk never done this before. I pulled over to check it out after I stopped I have no trans at a. P0700 code is coming up on my CTS and it won't clear.
I have a load to get to the rig. Help

After searching Google I disconnected the batteries for 15 min. And after they were reconnected I have a trans. But the cell is still up and won't clear with the CTS. Truck is driving now

Most likely you have p0735 CODE-- That is usually clutch slip from exceeding the clutch torque. check the code-the 700 code just turns on the light.

If its still on open your driver door for 5 mins, it will take your trans out of limp mode but you need to clear the code out to remove the CEL or cycle a few cranks. mine has slipped a total of 4 times and i do this everytime.

Why wouldn't my CTS clear the cel? The check engine light turned off after several restarts. Then I was able to clear the cel
