The only thing i can think of is have him get the PPE hot+2 and disable the egr or get the EFI live and disable the EGR, that would be the best way to do it. Make sure the fingerstick is installed correctly.

 

Sounds to me like the stick may not be hooked up right

 

i installed it myself , with the instruction from kennedys site. if anyone has their own instruction , i wouldnt mind comparing

In DTC enables list, can shut them off non emissions MIL OFF.
you can also go into the tune to shut the egr motor off

 

yeah i could but im tyring to avoid making him get a license for efi. he already spent for this thing , i feel bad already

 

i know all this but this is a customers vehicle , i want to fix what he has already got from kennedy. before i get him to buy a efi license

 

Finger stick does not block the PO402 code...Only EFI, PPE, Edge racing or others that block the EGR codes can take care of this...There is a service bulletin about this for the LBZ if that is an option

what is silly is that you got advice that will fix the problem, and you are still searching for the answer.

If he has an aftermarket intake, dump it, get it back to stock, and clean the MAF sensor.

still searching my friend is not silly , its called customer service , he has a banks , and changing it is not an option for him!! as a customer of ours i would rather pay for a efi license out of my own pocket and erase it. to give him what he had previously purchased with the finger stick

 

If you only want to kill the MIL light, just kill the light bulb. That costs less than a license.

 

Why have not all of those people with a banks intake had this problem? What makes this truck so problem filled? Everyone i have called recommends the banks intake, so what is actually CAUSING the problem? Not just the intake but what about the intake it causing it?

 

If someone can post the SB here, that will suggest what to address.

I installed all the Bankz stuff, 2 yearz ago, fingerstick,EGR blocker, exhaust, all the stuff & just recently started getting a P0402 code. I checked everything...all good. Any ideas except replacing the Banks?

You may have oxidation issues with your fingerthingy connections.

 

Im having the p0402 code, I have a Banks air intake, and have had it for a couple years,

I just had the turbo replaced, I have 310,000 milse on the truck

 

ttt.... I want to remove and clean the egr valve , it there a link to doing this?
