You would need access to the calibrations from GM too. Not really something the DIY group can get into.

This forum is for Chevy diesel pickups, not your car. Best to look for a Chevy Cruze forum and gain some knowledge there. Start by getting your car scanned for codes, DTCs as they are referred to. That will likely get you pointed in the right direction.
