I've done rebuilds myself and in the end it's just easier to buy an already "built" trans off the shelf from one of the reputable builders. People throw around the word "built" pretty loosely if you ask me. Just upgrading the clutches, apply plates, pistons, valve body and converter etc really isn't built to me but I see people posting these types of rebuilds stating them as "built". I recommend spending a bit more than the typical Stage 1 500hp build and go for the 750 build for not much more from most vendors.
