I’m curious if anyone has swapped out the new tow mirrors for the old style? And in the original location on the door?

Give a little details but if I understand it correctly it is not possible.

We need more information to know what exactly you're trying to do here- vehicle, which way you're trying to move with mirrors, stuff like that. I'm sure we can help or get you pointed in the right direction, but we need more to go off of to try to help

So I’m looking at getting a new duramax, not to fond of the 20-22 body style but one thing I definitely can’t stand is the new mirrors, or their placement, so I was just curious if anyone has been able to move them back to where mirrors have always gone and if it’s possible to put like the double bar extend mirrors on like they had before. Like 2019 mirrors or any other year prior.

As mentioned we need more information. Some year model mirrors can be swapped other can't.

When I busted my stock tow mirror, I temporarily put the older mirrors on my 2007 Classis while I was waiting for replacements from Boost Auto Parts.

I hated the older style because you can't see anything beside the truck - only what is behind the tailgate.

@Travcamp22 I don't think there has been that kind of a swap done yet... I haven't looked at a 20/21 truck up close and personal yet, but I'm not sure there is a way to do that kind swap

Nope isnt possible short of doing some serious customization. One thing that has been done that makes them look better is paint them body color.
